SkatersThe compact set fits without sideways scrolling. Turn a group on and the table scrolls inside its own frame, with rank and player pinned to the left.

My team
Slots come from the roster shape under Settings. A player fills the first slot his club actually lists him at; anyone left over sits in UTIL, then the bench.
What you are looking at: every skater with at least the minimum games inside the window, priced by your sheet.
Goalies
—What you are looking at: goalies priced with the goalie half of your sheet. Their points are not comparable to a skater's, so they are ranked apart.
Every column is a count or a rate taken inside your two dates: points per game, total points, the tier the gap put him in, the four-season shape of his value, his floor and ceiling, where the market has him, and how many games his club plays in the first four weeks. Columns opens the raw categories your sheet pays for.
Default rank is points per game inside the window at the minimum games set under Filters, ties broken by total points.
The scarcity curve
Points per game against positional rank, one curve per slot. Where a curve falls off a shelf, the position is thin. Where it runs flat, the next man up costs you almost nothing.
Move across a curve to read the player at that rank.
What you are looking at: replacement is the Nth best at the slot, N being starters times teams. The cliff is the largest single step down between consecutive ranks inside the top 60.
My rank against the market
One dot per player. Across is his seat when the published market's average draft rank is sorted, up is his seat on this board. Both axes are shelf-relative, so a goaltender is compared with goaltenders and a skater with skaters. The diagonal is agreement.
Move over a dot to read the name.
I am higher on
The market is higher on
What you are looking at: the market figure is the average of four published 2026-27 boards carried in data/fantasy_2027.json. The pool on each shelf is sorted on that average to give a market seat, and the gap is that seat minus the seat on this board. A player nobody ranked has no dot.
Replacement level
A points-per-game figure means nothing until you know what the next man up gives you. The Nth best at each position is replacement level, where N is the starters your roster shape asks for times the number of teams.
What you are looking at: a subtraction, not a score. PAR is a player's points per game minus the replacement figure printed in his row of this table. The N is printed beside it.
How it is built
What every column means, the files behind them, and the five questions this desk is asked most.
Common questions about the ranker.
Five things worth knowing before you set a window and start moving values.
What date range can I rank over?
Any two dates between 7 October 2022 and 16 April 2026, the four NHL regular seasons of per-game logs on file. Every game outside your dates is dropped before a single point is priced.
Which scoring systems are covered?
Five published sheets ship as presets: ESPN points, Yahoo points, Fantrax points, Yahoo roto categories and an offense-only sheet. Every value on every sheet is editable, and your edits are what the board ranks under.
How are the tiers made?
From the gap between one rank and the next. When that drop is larger than the tier gap you set, a new tier band starts. No tier is drawn by hand.
Are these ranks projections?
No. Every figure is a sum of games actually played inside your window, priced with your values. Nothing on this page is forecast.
Is my board saved anywhere?
In your own browser, under the key hi-ranker-v2. Nothing is uploaded. A named board can be shared as a link, which opens read-only for whoever you send it to.
