Five prospects to follow across college and European leagues. Team opening dates are scheduled games, not guaranteed player debuts. Regular-season stats appear after the next successful tracker refresh; a missing line does not mean zero games played.

What this page will not do.

the build rule
  • It does not present a real-time feed. Activity captured means the listed date had passed at the snapshot clock and a retained prospect row showed games played.
  • It does not project a line. Every figure is a season total the NHL landing endpoint returned.
  • It does not rate a prospect. The board orders the leading lines by one column at a time (points, points per game or goals) and blends nothing into a score.
  • A prospect with no game yet keeps his last season on record and says which season that was.

About Prospect Tracker.

What readers ask in the first week of September. Every answer is the rule the build follows.

What does activity captured mean?

The listed league start date had passed at the snapshot clock, and at least one eligible prospect had a retained 2026-27 row with games played above zero. It does not describe a real-time feed.

Where do these numbers come from?

Eligible current-organization prospects with unambiguous NHL identities use retained NHL player-landing seasonTotals. Each refreshed player has a provider retrieval date; offline assemblies retain that date. Organization, prospect-model-cache, export, and assembly clocks remain separate.

Why does my club show prospects with no games?

The retained source has no current-season line for them. Their league may not have opened, they may not have dressed, or cached evidence may be incomplete. Read the source date and missing-data status alongside the last season on record.

Class of 2026 · Season tracker

Every pick, tracked.

The draft was one night. This is the rest of the story. All 223 selections of the 2026 class followed through the season: where they play, how the lines come along, who signs, and who reaches the NHL first.

How the tracker works

From draft night to the NHL, one row at a time

Each row is one 2026 selection, joined to the same public data layers that power the rest of the site. Through the offseason the stat line shows the player's final pre-draft season as the baseline. Once the 2026-27 season begins and the roster data refreshes, live current-season lines replace the baselines automatically, same page, no relaunch. Signing status and current club come from the team-pipeline export.

What to watch as the season unfolds: which picks sign their entry-level deals, which CHL and European picks jump leagues, who forces an NHL debut in year one (rare and newsworthy, most classes produce only a handful), and which day-two picks outproduce their draft slot. For the class's pre-draft context, every player links back to the full 2026 player file.
