Public mock sources

2026 NHL mock draft source pages.

These static pages expose the curated public mock draft and ranking supplements used by Hockey Insights Draft. Each source keeps author, date, URL, and matched player rows separate from the local consensus ranking.

Curated public sources

May mock sources stay labeled as mocks. The June Hockey Writers source is labeled as a ranking. Source pages are static references and do not overwrite the consensus ranking.

How these source pages work

Mock draft pages answer a different question than the consensus ranking. A mock draft usually reflects projected NHL team choice, draft-order context, and one author's view of fit at a specific moment. A ranking source usually reflects player ordering without assigning NHL teams. Hockey Insights Draft keeps those formats labeled so users can compare public opinion without treating every row as the same kind of evidence.

The rows on these pages are matched against the local player pool where possible. If a public source mentions a player who is not matched in the local JSON, the source row can still appear as credited context, but it will not create a player profile or a scouting claim of its own. That boundary keeps the public pages transparent and crawlable while preserving the interactive board as the place to sort, filter, and open player drawers.
