Mock draft room
Run the 2026 NHL Draft, pick by pick
The mock draft room puts you on the clock with the real, reconciled 2026 first-round order. Every pick shows the team that currently owns the slot — including selections acquired in trade — and you decide who comes off the board. Draft any prospect from the best-available pool, let the room auto-pick the best available consensus name, or sim the rest of the round in one tap to see a full first round take shape. Your board is saved locally in this browser and can be shared with a link that encodes every pick.
The best-available pool is the complete local 2026 draft-eligible class — all 514 prospects — ordered by consensus rank by default, with position chips and alternate lists (NHL Central Scouting, points, P/GP, playoffs, age, name) one tap away. Each prospect card shows current position, nation, club, league, and the latest season stat line so on-the-clock decisions have real context rather than names alone. Goalies, defensemen, and forwards all sit in the same pool, so a run on one position shifts what is left for the teams picking behind you.
Best available
Every eligible prospect stays in the pool and it updates the moment a player is drafted. Order it by consensus, NHL CSS rank, production, or age — auto-pick still follows consensus best available.
Sim or undo
Auto-pick a single slot, sim the remaining picks on best-available, or undo the last selection to explore a different branch of the round.
Where the data comes from
Draft order is reconciled from local NHL/PuckPedia-derived caches. Ranks and stats are a local EliteProspects-derived export. Browse the full board on the rankings page, switch public sources on the draft hub, or read the methodology.
