Stat-row context

How the season database should be read

The Season Database is a stat-row research surface for 2026 NHL Draft-eligible prospects. It keeps forwards, defensemen, and goalies in the same searchable route, while preserving the different stat meanings for skaters and goalies. Skater rows expose goals, assists, points, and points per game. Goalie rows use goalie-specific values such as wins, save percentage, goals-against average, and shutouts where the local source provides them.

Rows can be filtered by season, age window, league, tier, regular/playoff/tournament split, games played, production, peer-rank context, and NHL Scouting Combine invite status. The combine control is a context filter only. Peer-rank chips compare matching skater rows by league or tier, age cohort, split, metric, and minimum games played; they are not draft rankings. For draft-board source context, use the main draft hub. For a player-picking workflow, use the mock draft board.

Source boundaries and freshness are documented on About Data; player identity and stat rows come from the local EliteProspects-derived draft-center export. External reference points include EliteProspects and NHL.com's combine article.
