# NHL Fantasy Team Previews 2026-27

The index at /fantasy/teams/ links thirty-two club-by-club fantasy hockey previews for the 2026-27 season, one page per NHL team. Every club page carries the same blocks in the same order, so two rosters can be compared without re-learning a layout: the draftable board, team fantasy DNA, the depth chart, league context, the crease, the power play, the offseason ledger, the schedule, and the prospects behind it.

The draftable board is a sortable table of every player on that club who clears the desk's pool line, typically eight to fifteen names, ranked by a blended ESPN points-per-game figure that weights 2025-26 at 0.6, 2024-25 at 0.3 and 2023-24 at 0.1. Each row prints desk rank, position, age, the 2025-26 and 2024-25 per-game figures, the blend, a three-season trend spark, the change in per-game scoring between the two halves of last season, the goals-assists-points line and games played, and the 2025-26 totals for power-play points, shots, hits and blocks. Where the player appears in the 250-player game-level consistency build the row also carries the share of his games with at least one point. The last two columns are the four-board consensus average rank and a value chip that is consensus rank minus the desk's own rank. A segmented control in the hero re-ranks and re-prices the whole board into Yahoo, Fantrax or roto z-score shape, and position pills filter it to forwards or defencemen.

The team fantasy DNA band sums six categories across the club's pool-ranked skaters for 2025-26 and draws each against the league average of the same sum, with the club's rank of 32 printed beside it. A position-mix strip shows the share of the club's blended points per game coming from forwards, defencemen and goaltenders. The depth chart sorts the same skaters into centre, left wing, right wing and defence columns plus a crease row, ordered by blend and tinted by it on a fixed league-wide scale. League context prints how many of the club's skaters sit inside the desk top 100, against all 32 clubs, and places the club's power-play concentration on the league distribution between its minimum, median and maximum. The crease block splits last season's starts between the club's pool-ranked goaltenders and prints wins, shutouts, goals-against average and save percentage for each.

The power-play block prints the share of a club's 2025-26 power-play points held by its top three skaters. It is the projection-free proxy for first-unit time. Tampa Bay Lightning are the most concentrated in the league at 69.2%; St. Louis Blues are the most spread at 44.9%.

The offseason ledger shows arrivals and departures for the club, filtered from 39 tracked 2026 moves that changed a ranked fantasy player's team. The schedule strip prints off-night count and share with league rank, back-to-backs with league rank, week-one games, longest homestand, longest road trip and the busiest seven-day stretch. Colorado Avalanche draw the most off-nights in the league and Nashville Predators the fewest. The prospect block lists up to five org prospects with the league they are playing in now and their NHL games so far.

Each club page closes with a few hundred words of written analysis built from that club's own computed figures. Washington Capitals put the most skaters into the pool at 16; Vancouver Canucks the fewest at 8. The single best blended rate in the league belongs to Nathan MacKinnon at 3.14 ESPN points per game.

These pages carry no projection. Every fantasy rate is a weighted blend of completed seasons and every schedule figure is already fixed by the published 2026-27 calendar.
