# Fantasy Hockey Consistency Profiles 2026-27: Floors, Streaks and Power-Play Reliance

The page at /fantasy/consistency/ takes the 250 skaters on the Fantasy Draft Desk's ESPN blend board and rebuilds them from individual game logs rather than season totals. Every figure is a count off a game line, which is why a competitor working from published season totals cannot produce this page at all.

For each skater with at least 40 games in 2025-26 it computes six figures. The share of games with a point, and the share with two or more. The longest and the average run of consecutive pointless games. The share of games worth at least 1.5 ESPN fantasy points, and the share worth at least 4.0. And the split of season points into even-strength and power-play halves. Where the skater also cleared 40 games in 2024-25, the page prints the year-over-year change in point-game rate so the stability of the measure is visible beside the measure itself.

The hero is a floor-versus-ceiling quadrant: point-game rate on the horizontal axis, boom rate or floor rate on the vertical, for the top 150 by blend rank, with quadrant boundaries drawn at the median of the plotted set. Below it sit four boards. The metronomes board ranks the top 25 point-game rates with a 60-game floor. The boom-bust board finds the highest boom rates among players with a below-median point-game rate, the head-to-head week-winners. The drought wall lists the longest pointless runs inside the top 100, with the dates each run began and ended. The power-play board lists every skater who took at least 45 percent of his points on the man advantage, flagging anyone at or above half.

Consistency is worth most in weekly head-to-head, where each week is a small sample won on a total. It is worth least in rotisserie and season-long points leagues, where the season is one large sample and the shape of the scoring does not change the standings.

ESPN points basis: G 2, A 1, SOG 0.1, HIT 0.1, BLK 0.5, PPP 0.5, from ESPN's own published points-league table. Source data: NHL public web API per-game skater logs for 2024-25 and 2025-26, regular season only. The 1.5-point floor line and the 4.0-point boom line are choices made by this desk and are stated on the page. One season is one season; the page prints the year-over-year table specifically so the reader can see how far these rates move.
