Hockey Insights Draft is a static 2026 NHL Draft board for public draft-order review, source switching, prospect context, and traded-pick visibility. The homepage focuses on the current pick board: Round 1 cards, all seven rounds, public source chips, player drawers, and freshness notes.

The page answers three questions:

- Which team currently owns each 2026 pick?
- Which public ranking or mock source is being shown?
- What local player context sits behind a projected selection?

## Source Selection

The public source picker includes consensus, verified public mock/ranking supplements, April-or-newer public boards, and NHL Central Scouting final lists. Stale, unclear partial, and no-rank sources are excluded from the public picker. Each source chip exposes source name, author or update date, ranked-player or pick count, source link, and the reason the source is included.

## Player Context

Player drawers use local JSON only. They show overview fields, public rank rows, regular-season lines, playoff or event rows, and draft/team context — all drawn from the same public data as the rest of the site.
